GUIDE TO MEASURING FOR A HARNESS

Measuring your dog for a harness is important to ensure a good fit and the comfort and safety of your pet. Here's a step-by-step guide to help you:
1. Measure the Neck: Start by measuring the circumference of your dog's neck. Use a flexible tape measure and wrap it around the widest part of your dog's neck, usually near the base. Make sure the tape measure isn't too tight; you should be able to slip two fingers between the tape measure and your dog's neck.

2.Measure the Chest: Next, measure the chest. The chest circumference is taken from the widest part of your dog's chest, usually right behind the front legs. Again, ensure the tape measure is snug, but not too tight.

3.Measure the Back Length (Optional): Some harnesses may require a measurement from the base of the neck to the base of the tail. This is typically not as crucial as the neck and chest measurements, but can help to ensure a good fit, especially for harnesses designed to cover more of the dog's body.

(A) NECK GIRTH - ฐานคอ (ต่ำกว่าจุดใส่ปลอกคอ

(B) CHEST GIRTH - รอบอก (หลังข้อศอกคู่หน้า

(C) BACK LENGTH - ความยาวตัว (ฐานคอถึงโคนหาง)

CHECK - TIGHTNESS

A well-fitted harness or collar should allow enough room for you to fit your two fingers between the dog's body and the harness/collar. The dog harness should be 4 cm shorter than their back length.

Once you have the above measurements, you can compare them with the size chart provided by the harness manufacturer. Always round up to the nearest size if your dog's measurements fall between two sizes, and adjust the harness according to the instructions provided to ensure a secure fit.Remember, a correctly fitted harness should be snug but not too tight, and you should be able to fit two fingers between the harness and your dog's body at any point.

GUIDE TO MEASURING FOR A COLLAR

Measuring your dog for a collar is a straightforward process but it's very important to ensure comfort and safety. Here's a step-by-step guide:
1. Measure the Neck: Get a flexible tape measure. Wrap it around the middle of your dog's neck where the collar is likely to sit. It should be snug, but not too tight. You should be able to comfortably slip two fingers between the tape measure and your dog's neck. This is your dog's neck size.

2. Add Extra Length for Comfort: For the collar to be comfortable and not too tight, add some extra length to your measurement. A common rule is to add two inches to your dog's neck size for collars up to 16 inches, and add three inches for collars that are 17 inches and larger.

3.Choose the Right Size Collar: Use the measurements and added length to choose the appropriate size collar based on the manufacturer's size chart. If your dog's measurement falls between two sizes, it's generally best to choose the larger size.

A well-fitted harness or collar should allow enough room for you to fit your two fingers between the dog's body and the harness/collar.

Remember, the collar should be snug enough to prevent your dog from slipping out of it, but not so tight as to cause discomfort. You should always be able to slip two fingers between the collar and your dog's neck. Always check the fit regularly, especially if you have a growing puppy.

GUIDE TO MEASURING FOR A BOOT

Measure your dog for boots, you need to measure the width and length of their paw. Here's a step-by-step guide:

1. Gather Your Materials: You'll need a blank piece of paper, a pen or pencil, and a ruler or measuring tape.

2. Prepare Your Dog: Have your dog stand on a firm surface. This is important as your dog's paw will spread when they are standing compared to when they are sitting or lying down.

3.Measure the Width: Place the blank piece of paper on the floor. Lift one of your dog's front paws and place it on the paper. Make sure your dog's weight is on the paw to mimic how the paw spreads when walking. Gently press down on the top of the paw to ensure it's fully spread out, then mark the widest points on the left and right sides of the paw. Remove your dog's paw and measure the distance between the marks to find the width of the paw.

4.Measure the Length: For the length, use the same method, marking the longest points at the front and back of the paw. Be sure to include the toenail at the front.

5.Repeat: Repeat the process for one of the back paws, as sometimes they can be smaller or larger than the front paws.

6.Choose the Size. If your dog's paw size falls between two sizes, go for the larger size to ensure comfort. Also, it's a good idea to check if the boots have adjustable straps for a better fit.

(B) PAW WIDTH - ความกว้างอุ้งเท้า

Remember, not all dog boots are made the same, so it's always a good idea to follow the specific measuring instructions given by the manufacturer of the boots. Also, it's important to check the boots for proper fit before using them for extended periods.
